How does the network operate?
Belonging to Breakthrough brings a number of privileges as well as various responsibilities.
PRIVILEGES
By belonging to the Breakthrough Network, churches can expect the following privileges:
For leaders
- Bi-monthly 1:1 meeting/conversation with John Pettifor or Network Leader.
- An invitation to bi-monthly Breakthrough meetings.
- An invitation to 2 free day conferences per year.
- An invitation to the Personal Best Conference.
- A monthly CD message from David Shearman.
- A quarterly network newsletter.
For Churches
- At least two visits per year from John Pettifor, David Shearman or Network Leader (as agreed).
- Opportunities to receive Network resources i.e. CDs, DVDs and books at discount rates.
- Knowledge and security in knowing that your congregation belongs to a network with vision, care and purpose.
- help with the structure and development of leadership teams.
The above committment should be seen as a minimum expectation from the network. The spirit of Breakthrough is relational and leadership/ministry input will reflect the requirements that seasonal church life demands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Churches that relate to Breakthrough make up this network by embracing the following criteria:
- Church Leaders value and recognise apostolic input and authority.
- Church Leaders commit themselves to form meaningful relationships with other leaders in Breakthrough.
- Church Leaders make available up to 12 days per year for training and input.
