What is the network all about?

Breakthrough is a 'network of networks', primarily led by David Shearman and John Pettifor, senior leaders of the Christian Centre in Nottingham.

Our Vision:

The Church exists to declare by word and action the unchanging good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It reaches out to people who are not yet Christians, it trains and disciples those who are and seeks to serve the many who find themselves on the margins of life. It aims to help people realise their potential and to build a better world. We believe Breakthrough is a God given vision to provide an apostolic network.

Our Leadership:

David Shearman, with John Pettifor, have a wealth of experience in church planting, developing leaders and working on the foundational issues in local church life which are crucial to growth and development.

One of their core values is developing real working relationships, with a view to recognising and releasing calling and gift. As such, the Apostolic role of David & John, functions at grass roots level with input to church leaders, teams and developing gifts as it does from preaching, teaching and conferencing.

To outwork their vision, David & John have a commitment to develop and release a wider team to serve the churches in the Breakthrough Network.
